Dean began his journey with Watsons 18 years ago as a trainee and has grown with the company ever since, completing a BSc in Building Services Engineering and ultimately becoming the Managing Director in 2022.

What do you enjoy most about your role at Watsons?
I enjoy the variety of people I interact with each day, from colleagues to suppliers to clients.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love eating. Nothing beats a good meal that leaves me happily in a food coma.

What’s the best meal you’ve ever had?
The only problem with loving food is eating too much! With so many great meals, it’s hard to single one out.

You’re stranded on a deserted island with only your favourite film, TV show and music to keep you entertained. What are they?
My favourite film is Inception. It's a unique concept and rewatchable. For my album choice, it would have to be 2001 by Dr. Dre, and I'd be taking The Blacklist for my TV box set. Raymond Reddington is one of my favourite TV characters, and it's a great watch, from start to end.

If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’d love to visit the Maldives. It looks amazing from the photos and seems so peaceful.

Which of your colleagues do you think is the best-dressed?
Am I allowed to call myself the best dressed? Otherwise, it has to be Neil Marsden!
